Odermann Cattle Company

- Our Herd -
Bred to thrive in the climate of the Northern Plains

Our herd philosophy is to raise functional cattle. One of our herd goals is to produce females that make great mothers in the sometimes tough conditions of the Northern Plains. Additionally, our mother cows are asked to produce offspring that will perform on the rail.

We select our herd sires to have calving ease, moderate frames and good carcass traits. Estimated progeny differences (EPDs) are an important part of our management decision making process when we select genetics.

The focus on carcass, especially the ribeye and marbling of our herd sires, helps us provide some of the best tasting, highest quality organic beef available on the market today!
